As a child, I was so sure that I was special. I knew I was destined for great things in life. This feeling was so powerful when I was young. As I got older, I started looking around at the world. Not long after the time I started searching for my purpose and for what made me special, I started getting hit with societal programming. By the time I was in middle school, I had already come to believe that the ways to be special were to: become famous or get a high paying job like doctor or lawyer.
When I think back now, I feel sad about how I let society box me in. Not that there’s anything wrong with being a doctor or a lawyer, or even being famous. Those roles are important and some people are truly meant to fill them. But to think that those are the only options is the sad part, especially now that I know I am not suited for any of those options.
We each have a unique role to play in this world. And with 7 billion people on the planet, that means each of us is a puzzle piece in the most fantastic and complex puzzle you can imagine. When that puzzle comes together, it will be the formation of world peace. When each of us is at peace inside, and living our highest purpose, serving others from a place of authenticity – that will be the formation of world peace.
Imagine a society where every individual is living their purpose, expressing themselves as they truly are and serving others in their highest capacity. Now think about how vastly different that is from what society tells our children and adolescents today. They’re so often given advice to be practical, to get a degree that will make them money, and to give up “frivolous” pursuits like dance, art, or music. What if instead we taught our children to listen to their inner guidance? What if we helped them cultivate their sense of true identity and their intuition? What if we taught them there can be lots of things, not just one thing? And that if dance, art or music makes their soul sing, they should do it?!
Now as adults reading this, you may have also had that feeling that you were destined for something great. Maybe you still do, but you don’t know how to get there. I can tell you what’s worked for me. The great work. The great work is to know thyself. The great work is to heal ourselves and become more of who we truly are. And the great work is to serve others with our unique gifts.
It’s only within the last few years that I have started to discover my true purpose on this planet. And I am still continuing to learn more and refine my understanding. But I know for certain that I am here to help others find their purpose. I am here to help others with the tools and healings that help unlock this. These tools help us as adults unlock our full potential and disavow ourselves of programming that limits us. What makes me special is this purpose. And what make you special is your purpose. The question is: are you living it?
A daily meditation practice is one of the most important tools for living our purpose and knowing ourselves. And the Life Activation healing is a catalyst for re-awakening your memories of why you are here and who you are. It works at the DNA level. It helps us access our divine blueprint – the plan we made before we were born of how we would like to live this life to be joyful and to serve others.
There are many more tools available on the path, but those are the foundation. If you are interested in starting a meditation practice, my group meditation classes are a great way to start. And if you’re ready to get on your path, then contact me to book a Life Activation session. Many blessings on your journey.
